Hey there thanks for stopping by! I’m Matt aka (Mad Matt) no I’m not Mad ….. maybe a little crazy mad…lol. I’ve been doing outdoor adventures all my life. The last seven years I’ve been a gear and subscription box reviewer for survival and tactical out gear, that channel name was Common Family Survival. I also was a brand ambassador for OneTigris and even co designed a tent with them (backwoods bungalow). Hiking and backpacking has always been a passion of mine and always tweaking and improving my gear is what I live for!
I grew up in the hills of Ohio, from a young age fishing, camping, ATV riding, kayaking, rappelling ..etc. For the last 30 years my focus has been hiking and backpackin.
